قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمَاءِ وَمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ وَالسِّبَاعِ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ لَمْ يَحْمِلِ الْخَبَثَ هَذَا لَفْظُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ مِنْ بَيْنِهِمْ فِي حَدِيثِهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ

Salamah also narrated it from ʿĀṣim b. al-Mundhir, from ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar, from his father, and all of them raise it to the Prophet (marfūʿ). ʿĀṣim b. al-Mundhir is, in their view, soft (layyin), not a proof.
