حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَارِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ
لَيْسَ فِي مَالِ الْمُسْتَفِيدِ زَكَاةٌ حَتَّى يَحُولَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوْلُ

machine translationAyyūb, ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar and more than one other narrated it from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf). ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Zayd b. Aslam is weak (ḍaʿīf) in hadith; Aḥmad, Ibn al-Madīnī and others declared him weak, and he makes many mistakes. Then he reported it from Ayyūb from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar as mawqūf. He said: This is more sound than the hadith of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Zayd b. Aslam.
