machine translationIt was narrated from Suwayd b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz from ʿUbaydullāh as a statement of the Prophet (marfūʿ) as well, but the sound report from ʿUbaydullāh is mawqūf. So said Muʿtamir, Ibn Numayr, Muḥammad b. Bishr, Shujāʿ b. al-Walīd and ʿUbaydah b. Ḥumayd from him. It was also narrated from Mālik b. Anas from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar as marfūʿ, but its being raised is not sound. The one who raised it from Mālik is Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm al-Ḥunaynī, and the sound report from Mālik is mawqūf. Ayyūb narrated it from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar as mawqūf, and likewise Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd narrated it from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar as mawqūf.
