Whoever catches one rak‘ah of the Friday prayer, let him pray another with it; and whoever misses the two rak‘ahs, let him pray four — or he said: the Ẓuhr — or he said: the first.

machine translationAl-Dāraquṭnī narrated it by way of Yāsīn b. Muʿādh, who is abandoned (matrūk).

machine translationIn its chain of transmission is Yāsīn b. Muʿādh, who is abandoned (matrūk), so no proof can be established by it.
machine translationWe have already mentioned that al-Dāraquṭnī declared Yāsīn weak (ḍaʿīf). Al-Bukhārī and Ibn Abī Ḥātim described his hadith as denounced (munkar) without qualification, and al-Nasāʾī and others declared him abandoned (matrūk) without qualification. Ibn Ḥibbān said: He narrates fabrications (mawḍūʿāt) from trustworthy narrators and is alone in transmitting problematic reports (muʿḍilāt) from reliable authorities; it is not permissible to use him as evidence.
