نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّفَّارِ وَحَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ نا عَلِيٌّ نا سُفْيَانُ نا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ وَهْرَامَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا يَقُولُ نَحْوَهُ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ
قَالَ عَلِيٌّ قُلْتُ لِسُفْيَانَ أَكَانَ زَمْعَةُ يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَسَأَلْتُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْهُ فَلَمْ يَعْرِفْهُ يَعْنِي لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ بَابُ السِّوَاكِ
