Sunan al-Daraqutni 1145

✧ What suffices him of supplication when unable to recite the Fatihah of the Book

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْوَكِيلُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ

أَنَّهُ انْطَلَقَ إِلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُهُ قَالَ حِينَ افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ

Translation
