The superiority of the one who prepares a Ghazi or looks after his dependents

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بُسْرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
«مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا، وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا».

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever equips a fighter in the path of Allah has indeed fought, and whoever looks after the family of a fighter in the path of Allah in a good manner has ˹also˺ indeed fought.”
