The Statement of Allah 'Azza wa Jall: "... They do not beg people persistently. ..." (2:273) And who may be considered to have enough to be content and abstain from begging"

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَشْوَعَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي كَاتِبُ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ
كَتَبَ مُعَاوِيَةُ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَنِ اكْتُبْ إِلَىَّ بِشَىْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَرِهَ لَكُمْ ثَلاَثًا: قِيلَ وَقَالَ، وَإِضَاعَةَ الْمَالِ، وَكَثْرَةَ السُّؤَالِ».

Muawiyah wrote to al-Mughirah b. Shubah, asking him to write back with something he had heard from the Prophet ﷺ. So he wrote to him: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Allah dislikes three things for you: gossip, wasting wealth, and asking too many questions."
