حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، نَا فُضَيْلٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَرْزُوقٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِنَّ اللهَ طَيِّبٌ لَا يَقْبَلُ إِلَّا طَيِّبًا، وَإِنَّ اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَمَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِمَا أَمَرَ بِهِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ فَقَالَ: يَا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحًا، وَقَالَ: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْفِقُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا كَسَبْتُمْ.

✧ Indeed God is good and accepts only what is good; and indeed God, blessed and exalted, commanded the believers with what He commanded the messengers, saying: “O messengers, eat from the good things and act righteously,” and He said: “O you who believe, spend from the good things you have earned.”
