✧ What 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj narrated from Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، نَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

كَمْ مَضَى مِنَ الشَّهْرِ ؟ قُلْنَا: اثْنَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ وَبَقِيَ ثَمَانٍ، قَالَ: لَا، بَلْ مَضَى اثْنَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ، وَبَقِيَ سَبْعٌ، اطْلُبُوهَا اللَّيْلَةَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ

Translation
