✧ What 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj narrated from Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا طَلِيقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، نَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:
قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، هَلْ نَرَى رَبَّنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ؟ قَالَ: أَلَيْسَ تَرَوْنَ الْقَمَرَ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ لَا تُضَامُونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ ؟ قُلْنَا: بَلَى. قَالَ: فَوَاللهِ لَتَرَوُنَّهُ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ الْقَمَرَ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ

✧ We said: O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection? He said: Do you not see the moon on the night of the full moon, with no crowding in seeing it? We said: Yes. He said: By Allah, you will surely see Him as you see the moon on the night of the full moon.
