✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us, when one of us took to his bed, to say: O Allah, You are the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, and Lord of everything, the Splitter of the grain and the date-stone, the Sender down of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every possessor of evil whom You seize by the forelock. You are the First, so there is nothing before You, and the Last, so there is nothing after You, and the Outward, so there is nothing above You, and the Inward, so there is nothing below You. Settle my debt for me and enrich me from poverty.
