✧ What 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj narrated from Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نَا جَرِيرٌ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ - عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْهَا أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَسْأَلُهُ خَادِمًا، فَقَالَ: أَلَا أَدُلُّكِ عَلَى مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ؟ تُسَبِّحِينَ اللهَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ، وَتَحْمَدِينَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ، وَتُكَبِّرِينَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ

Translation

✧ Fatimah, may Allah have mercy on her, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asking him for a servant. He said: Shall I not direct you to what is better for you than that? Glorify Allah thirty-three times, praise Him thirty-three times, and magnify Him thirty-four times.
