✧ What 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj narrated from Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ;
أَنَّ رَجُلًا رَأَى كَلْبًا يَأْكُلُ الثَّرَى مِنَ الْعَطَشِ فَأَخَذَ الرَّجُلُ خُفَّهُ فَجَعَلَ يَغْرِفُ لَهُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ حَتَّى أَرْوَاهُ، فَشَكَرَ اللهُ لَهُ فَأَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ

✧ A man saw a dog eating moist earth from thirst, so the man took his leather sock and began scooping water for it until he quenched its thirst, so Allah appreciated him for it and admitted him to Paradise.
