Chain of narrators
  1. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The example of the spender and the miser is like two men upon whom are two coats of iron from their chests to their collarbones. When the spender intends to spend, the coat of mail expands over him until it covers his footsteps; and when the miser intends to spend, it contracts from behind him, so he keeps trying to loosen it but is unable, and he keeps trying to loosen it but is unable.
