8756 8749 - نَا بِهِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ:
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ. وَأَشْعَثُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ السَّمَّانُ ضَعِيفٌ فِي الْحَدِيثِ لِكَثْرَةِ الْخَطَأِ فِيمَا رَوَى، وَإِنْ كَانَ قَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ جَمَاعَةٌ مِمَّنْ يُنْسَبُونَ إِلَى الْعِلْمِ
Translation
Chain of narrators

✧ Ibn 'Uyaynah reported to us, from 'Amr b. Dinar, from Hisham b. Yahya, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ. Ash'ath b. Sa'id Abu al-Rabi' al-Samman is weak in hadith due to the frequency of errors in what he narrates, even though a number of those who are attributed to knowledge have narrated from him.
