✧ Ata' b. Yasar from Abu Hurayra

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الذَّرَّاعُ قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ وَاضِحٍ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ وَصَبٌ وَلَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا هَمٌّ وَلَا حَزَنٌ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا أَوْ تَشُوكُهُ إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ بِهَا عَنْهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ

Translation

✧ No pain, fatigue, worry, or grief afflicts the believer, not even a thorn that pricks him, except that Allah expiates thereby some of his sins.
