✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “O Messenger of God, what is thoroughness?” He remained silent until the time of prayer came. He called for water and poured it over his hand, then washed his face and hands three times, wiped his head, washed his feet three times, and sprinkled the lower part of his garment. Then he said, “Thus is thoroughness in ablution.”
