machine translationAl-Bazzār made an error in it, and it is not preserved from Mālik. Rather, Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd narrated it from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb from Saʿīd. Then he transmitted it with his chain from Ibn Ṣāʿid, from ʿAmr b. ʿAlī and Bundār, and from ʿAlī b. Mubashshir, from Ḥafṣ b. ʿAmr al-Rabālī, all three of them from Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān, from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb, with it.

machine translationIbn Abī Dhiʾb narrates it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Abū ʿĀṣim narrated it from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah. Shuʿayb b. Ayyūb al-Ṣarīfīnī related it from Abū ʿĀṣim in this way. But al-Thawrī, Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān, Yaḥyā b. Yaman, Aḥmad b. Yūnus and Ibn Abī Fudayk contradicted him; they narrated it from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah, and this is the correct version. Aḥmad b. ʿAmr b. ʿAbd al-Khāliq al-Bazzār related it in the Musnad, in the hadith of Mālik from al-Maqburī. ʿAmr b. ʿAlī related it from Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān, from Mālik b. Anas, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah, and he made a glaring error in it. Rather, ʿAmr b. ʿAlī narrated it from Yaḥyā, from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb.
