كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ وَهُوَ مَوْلَى الْجُنْدَعِيِّينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا سَبَقَ إِلَّا فِي خُفٍّ أَوْ حَافِرٍ
