حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ مَوْلَى الْحُرَقَةِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ; أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

أَعِنْ أَخَاكَ ظَالِمًا أَوْ مَظْلُومًا، إِنْ كَانَ ظَالِمًا فَأَعِنْ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يُؤْخَذَ مِنْهُ الْحَقُّ فَقَدْ أَعَنْتَهُ بِذَلِكَ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مَظْلُومًا فَأَعِنْهُ حَتَّى يَأْخُذَ حَقَّهُ فَقَدْ أَعَنْتَهُ

✧ Help your brother, whether he is the oppressor or the oppressed. If he is the oppressor, then prevent him from oppression, for that is helping him; and if he is the oppressed, then support him until he gets his right.
