حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَإِذَا شَهِدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَآمَنُوا بِي وَبِمَا جِئْتُ بِهِ عَصَمُوا - أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: - مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللهِ

✧ I have been commanded to fight the people until they say: There is no god but Allah. When they testify that there is no god but Allah and believe in me and what I have brought, they have protected—I think he said—from me their blood except by its right, and their reckoning is with Allah.
