وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ:
أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْيَهُودِ يَقُولُ: وَالَّذِي اصْطَفَى مُوسَى عَلَى الْبَشَرِ فَرَفَعَ يَدَهُ فَلَطَمَهُ، فَجَاءَ بِهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ: إِنَّهُ قَالَ وَالَّذِي اصْطَفَى مُوسَى عَلَى الْبَشَرِ وَأَنْتَ فِينَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَيَصْعَقُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَنْ شَاءَ اللهُ، ثُمَّ يُنْفَخُ فِيهِ أُخْرَى فَأَكُونُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ، فَإِذَا مُوسَى آخِذٌ بِقَائِمَةٍ مِنْ قَوَائِمِ الْعَرْشِ، فَلَا أَدْرِي أَكَانَ مِمَّنِ اسْتَثْنَى اللهُ أَوْ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ قَبْلِي، وَمَنْ قَالَ: أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى فَقَدْ كَذَبَ
Translation

✧ A man from the Ansar heard a Jewish man say: By the One who chose Musa over all mankind. He raised his hand and slapped him. He brought him to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him. The Ansari said: He said, 'By the One who chose Musa over all mankind,' while you are among us. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The trumpet will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and the earth will swoon, except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and I will be the first to raise his head, and there will be Musa holding onto one of the pillars of the Throne. I do not know whether he was among those whom Allah exempted or whether he raised his head before me. And whoever says: I am better than Yunus b. Matta, has lied.
