وَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، قَالَ: نَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ، قَالَ: نَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ:

يَقُولُ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى: الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ، وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدِ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

✧ Allah, Blessed and Exalted, says: 'Fasting is for Me, and I reward for it. And the odor of the fasting person's mouth is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.'
