✧ What Sa'id b. al-Musayyib narrated from Abu Hurayra

وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لَهُ: أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ قَالَ: إِيمَانٌ بِاللهِ وَجِهَادٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ مَاذَا ؟ قَالَ: ثُمَّ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ.

✧ A man asked him: Which deed is most excellent? He replied: Faith in Allah and struggle in the cause of Allah. He said: Then what? He replied: Then an accepted ḥajj.
