نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ
خَطَبَ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي قَدْ كَبِرْتُ وَلِي عِيَالٌ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: خَيْرُ نِسَاءٍ رَكِبْنَ الْإِبِلَ صَالِحُ نِسَاءِ قُرَيْشٍ، أَحْنَاهُ عَلَى وَلَدٍ فِي صِغَرِهِ، وَأَرْعَاهُ عَلَى زَوْجٍ فِي ذَاتِ يَدِهِ

✧ He proposed to Umm Hāniʾ bt. Abī Ṭālib, and she said: O Messenger of Allah, I have become old and I have dependents. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The best women who have ridden camels are the righteous women of Quraysh, most tender to a child in his infancy and most protective of a husband in what concerns his property.
