machine translationAl-Zuhrī narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Yūnus b. Yazīd narrated it, and there is disagreement about Yūnus. Abū Ḍamrah, Ibn Wahb and al-Layth narrated it from Yūnus, from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd and Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah. Shabīb b. Saʿīd and Rishdīn b. Saʿd differed from them, and narrated it from Yūnus, from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd alone, from Abū Hurayrah. ʿUqayl, Maʿmar and Ibrāhīm b. Abī ʿAblah likewise narrated it from al-Zuhrī. ʿAwn, the freedman of Umm Yaḥyā, narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from Abū Salamah alone, from Abū Hurayrah, and Ibn Samʿān followed him on this from al-Zuhrī. It is also reported from Rishdīn, from ʿAmr b. al-Ḥārith and Qurrah, from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd and Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah, but this is not sound (ṣaḥīḥ). The sound report is from Yūnus, from al-Zuhrī, from both of them, and from Yūnus, from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd alone.
