✧ The Prophet ﷺ dozed off in the mosque and woke up smiling. They said, “Why are you laughing?” He said, “A surah was revealed to me while I was dozing: ‘Indeed, We have granted you al-Kawthar.’ It was said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what is al-Kawthar?’ He said, ‘A river in which there is a basin, containing goblets as numerous as the stars of the sky. My nation will come to it, and a man from among them will be snatched away. I will say, “O Lord, my nation.” It will be said, “You do not know what they innovated after you.” Or I will say, “O Lord, one of my nation.” It will be said, “You do not know what he innovated after you.”’”
