حَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْعَدَوِيُّ، نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نَا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ وَالْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:
دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَرَأَيْتُ فِيهَا قَصْرًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقُلْتُ: لِمَنْ هَذَا الْقَصْرُ ؟ قِيلَ: لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ فَسَأَلْتُ، أَوْ قِيلَ لِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ، أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: فَلَوْلَا غَيْرَتُكَ لَدَخَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: أَوَعَلَيْكَ أَغَارُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ

✧ I entered Paradise and saw a palace of gold. I said, “For whom is this palace?” It was said, “For a man of Quraysh.” I asked, or it was said to me, “Umar b. al-Khattab.” I think he said, “Were it not for your jealousy, I would have entered it.” Umar said, “Would I be jealous of you, O Messenger of Allah?”
