✧ Ubaydullah b. Abi Bakr b. Anas on the authority of Anas

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، أَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ:
أَنَّ رَجُلًا اطَّلَعَ مِنْ بَعْضِ حُجَرِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِشْقَصًا، أَوْ مَشَاقِصَ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ: فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، قَالَ: فَذَهَبَ أَحْسَبُهُ، قَالَ: فَرَمَاهُ، أَوْ طَعَنَهُ، فَأَخْطَأَهُ
Translation

✧ A man looked in from one of the rooms of the Prophet ﷺ, so the Prophet ﷺ took a headless arrow or some headless arrows. Anas said: It is as if I am looking at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: I think he went to him and threw it at him or stabbed him, but missed him.
