حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السَّكَنِ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، نَا جَعْفَرٌ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ، نَا الْجَعْدُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

قَالَتْ أُمِّي: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي أَنَسٌ لَوْ دَعَوْتَ لَهُ بِدَعَوَاتٍ، فَدَعَا لِي بِثَلَاثِ دَعَوَاتٍ: اثْنَتَانِ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُمَا، وَأَنَا أَرْجُو الثَّالِثَةَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ

Translation

✧ My mother said: 'O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be your ransom, Anas—if you would supplicate for him with some supplications.' So he supplicated for me with three supplications: two in this world, and I have seen them, and I hope for the third in the Hereafter.
