حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْقُرَشِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، قَالَ: نَا كُوفِيٌّ لَنَا يُقَالُ لَهُ: عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَرْبِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، يَقُولُ:

قَالَ لِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ وَقَدْ وَضَعْتُ رِجْلِي فِي غَرْزِ الرِّكَابِ: لَا تَأْتِ الْعِرَاقَ، فَإِنَّكَ إِنْ أَتَيْتَهَا أَصَابَكَ بِهَا ذُبَابُ السَّيْفِ، قَالَ: وَأَيْمُ اللهِ لَقَدْ قَالَهَا، وَلَقَدْ قَالَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِي قَبْلَهُ
