✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ when he came to the door of a woman he had recently married. He said: There were people with her. He went away, took care of his need, and waited. Then he returned and people were still with her. He went away again, took care of his need, then returned and they had left. He entered and let down a curtain between me and him. I mentioned this to Abu Talhah, who said: 'If it is as you say, something has been revealed about this.' Then the verse of hijab was revealed.
