حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، نَا يَزِيدُ - يَعْنِي: ابْنَ زُرَيْعٍ - عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ فَزَعًا كَانَ مَرَّةً، فَرَكِبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَسًا لِأَبِي طَلْحَةَ كَانَ يَقْطِفُ أَوْ كَانَ فِيهِ قِطَافٌ، فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فَرَسَكُمْ هَذَا بَحْرًا مِنَ الْبُحُورِ، فَكَانَ بَعْدُ لَا يُجَارَى
Translation

✧ Once there was a fright, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rode a horse belonging to Abu Talhah that had a short, sluggish gait. When he returned, he said: 'I found this horse of yours to be like a vast ocean.' After that, it was never outrun.
