✧ The people asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until they pressed him with questions. One day he ascended the pulpit and said: 'You will not ask me about anything except that I will make it clear to you.' Anas said: 'I began looking right and left at every person wrapping his head in his garment, weeping.' A man who, when he contended with men, was called by other than his father's name, rose and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who is my father?' He said: 'Your father is Hudhafah.' Then 'Umar rose and said: 'We are pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with Muhammad as Messenger. We seek refuge in Allah from trials.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I have never seen a day like today in good and evil. Paradise was depicted for me until I saw it behind this wall.'
