حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، نَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، نَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ;

✧ Al-'Adba' was never outrun. One day a Bedouin came on a young camel of his and raced her, and he beat her. That distressed the companions of the Messenger of God ﷺ and grieved them. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'It is a right upon God, Blessed and Exalted, that He does not raise anything of this world except that He lowers it.'
