✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the morning prayer, people would come to him with their vessels—or vessels containing water—so that he would dip his hand in them, seeking the blessing of the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Sometimes they would come on a cold morning, and he would dip his hand in them.
