حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْحَرَسِيُّ، نَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
أَصَابَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَطَرٌ، فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَحَسَرَ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى أَصَابَهُ فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ
Translation

✧ Rain fell on us while we were with the Messenger of God ﷺ. The Messenger of God ﷺ went out and bared part of his garment so that the rain fell on him. It was said: 'O Messenger of God, why did you do this?' He said: 'Because it is newly come from its Lord.'
