وَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، نَا عَفَّانُ، نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى آدَمَ فَصَوَّرَهُ فَجَعَلَ إِبْلِيسُ يُطِيفُ بِهِ، فَلَمَّا رَآهُ خَلْقًا مُجَوَّفًا عَلِمَ أَنَّهُ لَا يَتَمَالَكُ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ - أَوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا
Translation

✧ When Allah, Blessed and Exalted, created Adam and formed him, Iblis began to circle around him. When he saw that he was a hollow creation, he knew that he would not be able to keep from disobeying—or words to that effect.
