نَا ابْنُ مُثَنَّى، نَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ;

أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ فَقَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ.

✧ He was asked about the punishment of the grave, and he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, cowardice, miserliness, the trial of the Dajjal, and the punishment of the grave.
