✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered upon Umm Sulaym, and she brought him dates and clarified butter. He said: 'Return your butter to its container and your dates to their vessel, for I am fasting.' Then he went to a corner of the house and prayed a prayer that was not obligatory, and he supplicated for Umm Sulaym and her household. Umm Sulaym said: 'I have a special request.' He said: 'What is it?' She said: 'Your servant Anas.' He did not omit any good of the Hereafter or this world but supplicated for me with it. Then he said: 'Provide him with wealth and children and bless him.' I think he said: 'in him.' He said: 'So I am among the wealthiest of the Ansar.' He said: 'And my daughter informed me that I had buried one hundred and twenty-some of my offspring before the arrival of al-Hajjaj to Basra.'
