✧ Whoever leaves this world upon sincerity to God, Blessed and Exalted, and worship of Him, not associating anything with Him, and upon establishing prayer and giving zakat, leaves it while God is pleased with him. That is the religion of God with which the messengers came and which they conveyed from their Lord before the clear-cut hadiths and the divergence of whims. Confirmation of that is in the Book of God: 'If they repent' — he says: if they cast off idols and worship of them — 'and establish prayer and give zakat, then leave their way clear,' and he recited another verse: 'If they repent and establish prayer and give zakat, then they are your brothers in religion.'
