Musnad al-Bazzar 6508

Translation

✧ "Who will find out for me what happened to Abu Jahl?" Ibn Mas'ud said: "I will." So he went and found that the two sons of 'Afra' had struck him until he became still. He said: "I took hold of his beard and said: 'Are you Abu Jahl?'" He said: "He said: 'Is he anything but a man whom you have killed, or whom his people have killed?'"
