حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، نَا أَبِي، نَا زُرَارَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ; أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

كَانَ يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ، وَالْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءُ نَقِيَّةٌ، وَالْمَغْرِبَ إِذَا غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ، وَالْعِشَاءَ إِذَا غَابَ الشَّفَقُ، وَالْفَجْرَ رُبَّمَا صَلَّاهَا حِينَ يَطْلُعُ الْفَجْرُ، وَرُبَّمَا أَخَّرَهُ

Translation

✧ He used to pray Zuhr when the sun declined, Asr while the sun was white and clear, Maghrib when the sun set, Isha when the twilight disappeared, and Fajr: sometimes he prayed it when dawn broke, and sometimes he delayed it.
