Chain of narrators
  1. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ Indeed, God has roaming bands of angels who seek out circles of remembrance. When they come upon them, they surround them, then they send their scout up to the heaven, to the Lord of Might, Blessed and Exalted. They say: 'Our Lord, we came upon servants of Your servants, who extol Your blessings, recite Your Book, invoke blessings upon Your Prophet ﷺ, and ask You for their hereafter and their worldly needs.' Then He, Blessed and Exalted, says: 'Cover them with My mercy.' They say: 'O Lord, among them is so-and-so, a great sinner; he only joined them casually.' Then He, Blessed and Exalted, says: 'Cover them with My mercy.' They are the companions; no one who sits with them is made wretched.
