حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنَا الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ، قَالَ: نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ:

أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى وَضَعَ قَدَمَهُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ فَاطِمَةَ، فَعَلَّمَنَا مَا نَقُولُ إِذَا أَخَذْنَا مَضَاجِعَنَا: " ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَسْبِيحَةً، وَثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً، وَثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَحْمِيدَةً، فَمَا تَرَكْتُهَا بَعْدُ " فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: وَلَا لَيْلَةَ صِفِّينَ ؟ فَقَالَ: وَلَا لَيْلَةَ صِفِّينَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us and placed his foot between me and Fatimah. He taught us what to say when we went to bed: “Thirty-three glorifications, thirty-three takbirs, and thirty-three praises of Allah.” I have never abandoned it since.” A man asked him: “Not even on the night of Siffin?” He replied: “Not even on the night of Siffin.”
