✧ While the Muslims were in the dawn prayer on Monday, with Abū Bakr leading them, nothing startled them except the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who had drawn back the curtain of ʿĀʾishah's room and looked at them while they were in the rows of prayer. Then he smiled and laughed. They thought that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ intended to come out, so much so that they almost fell into temptation during their prayer. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gestured with his hand, meaning: Complete your prayer. Then he entered the room and let the curtain down between him and them. That was the last I saw of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on that day.
