حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، نَا نَافِعُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

مِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ وَالِدِهِ، وَمِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنْ أَرَى عَيْنَيْهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا لَمْ تَرَ، وَمِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ.

✧ Among the most wicked of falsehoods is that a man claims to be the son of someone other than his father, and among the most wicked of falsehoods is that a man claims his eyes saw in a dream what they did not see, and among the most wicked of falsehoods is that a man says about me what I did not say.
