✧ Ali ؓ stood before the people of the canal and said: What you hear me narrate from the Messenger of God ﷺ, hold me to it; and what you hear me narrate other than that, war is deception. I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: “At the end of time there will be a people young in age, foolish in intellect, who pass out of the religion as an arrow passes through its target, then they will not return to it. Wherever you meet them, kill them, for killing them is reward on the Day of Resurrection. I see them as none other than these.” Then he rose and advanced against them.
