✧ From the hadith of Salim from b. Umar

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَهُ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ كَأَنَّهَا لَيْلَةُ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ فَقَالَ: أَرَى رُؤْيَاكُمْ قَدْ تَوَاطَأَتْ عَلَى الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فَاطْلُبُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ، فِي السَّبْعِ الْغَوَابِرِ فِي الْوِتْرِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ That a man asked him, saying: I saw the Night of Decree as if it were the night of the twenty-third. He said: I see that your visions have concurred on the last ten, so seek it in the ten, in the seven remaining, in the odd.
